Homes can be up to 7X more polluted than the air outside3
Many household items – from decorating materials, to flooring, to plants – can release microscopic particles and gases. This includes formaldehyde, which can quickly build up and keep polluting for up to a year.
Common household pollutants
-
PM10
Pollen and allergens
-
PM2.5
Industrial emissions
-
PM0.1
Ultrafine particles
-
Gases and VOCs
Cleaning products, gas stoves and car exhausts
Formaldehyde is 500X smaller than PM0.1
It's a potentially harmful chemical, emitted by numerous household products. It's particularly difficult to capture, and can pollute continuously.
Automatically senses and reports particles and gases, in real time
With three intelligent sensors, the Dyson purifier fan heater automatically detects airborne particles and gases – including formaldehyde. The built-in LCD screen shows your room temperature, and which pollutants your machine has detected.4
Captures and destroys
The advanced 360˚ filtration system captures potentially harmful pollutants and removes gases.5 And destroys formaldehyde continuously.1
Projects purified air throughout your room6
-
How we pushed beyond industry test standards, to purify every corner of the room6
Traditional tests were carried out in small chambers. At Dyson, we changed the test to mimic a real living room.
-
Heats in winter. Cools you in summer.
With long-range purified heat projection, it's quick to heat the whole room evenly.7
View temperature and air quality reports, fast
The Dyson Link app allows you to monitor the air quality in your home, and outdoors. Quickly check your machine's activity, past and present, as well as temperature, humidity and filter life.8
Filter life checks, at your fingertips
The app automatically notifies you if your combination filter needs replacing. So you can be sure your machine is always working at its best.
Voice control
All you have to do is ask. Using a compatible voice service, control your machine with simple, spoken instructions.
Fast, safe, efficient heating
Self-regulating ceramic plates are positioned at the front of the amp, to heat the air as it leaves the machine. As the plates heat up, they conduct less electricity to help ensure they don’t overheat.
Thermostat control
Once your target temperature is reached, the machine automatically stops heating, which saves energy. If the temperature starts to drop, it reactivates to maintain it.
Powerful Air Multiplier™ technology
Air Multiplier™ technology delivers over 290 litres of smooth, powerful airflow per second – circulating purified air throughout the whole room.9
Two airflow modes
The machine has two separate apertures, to release air from either the front or back of the machine. The valve mechanism turns a rotational baffle around the arc of the amplifier, to switch the direction of the airflow.
-
Diffused mode
The machine diverts air through the rear annular at a 45˚ angle, creating a more diffused flow.10
-
Fan mode
Delivers a powerful stream of cooling, purified air from the front of the machine.
Projects purified air to every corner of the room6
-
Dyson air purifier and heaters mix and circulate the air, so they heat and purify the whole room evenly.6
-
When purifiers and heaters don't distribute air through the room, areas can be left unheated and polluted.
2Filter tested by independent third party (IBR US), May-19, to EN1822 at 0.1 µm (DEHS) under laboratory conditions (21°C, humidity 49%). Purification rate of machine tested to GB/T 18801-2015 with particle size down to 0.1 µm. Test result reached 99.95% under laboratory conditions (30 m³, 20 min, setting 10). The machine is tested by an independent third party (CHEARI) for whole room purification. During the test, it is located in the corner of an 81m³ (6m x 4.5m x 3m) chamber and in auto purifying mode. PM 2.5 particles were purified from a Good to Great level (according to China AQI and other results from Dyson inhouse) and then the machine automatically switched off. Tested under prescribed test conditions; results may vary in practice.
3Based on Dyson in house data collection.
4PM2.5, PM10, VOCs, NO2
5Tested to JEM 1467 (acetic acid, acetaldehyde, ammonia), GB/T18801 (formaldehyde, benzene) and DTM-003282 (NO2), by Dyson or third-party laboratories (Fraunhofer, Germany and CHEARI, China). Capture rates may vary. Other harmful gases not tested. Tested under prescribed testing conditions; results may vary in practice.
